A Message from Laura
It is my great honour to serve as the Chair of Amici’s Board of Directors. Camp has and continues to play an integral role in my life. I am extremely proud to be a part of Amici’s dedicated community that helps children discover their full potential through the unique environment of summer camp.
Amici is a dynamic organization with a strong vision for the future. We continue to push our boundaries of possibility and find strategic ways to support more children and families, while deepening the impact of camp on our entire community.
The Compass Leadership Program is a first for Amici and has propelled us into a new frontier. We are so proud of the work we are doing with our leadership campers through this unique program, and I invite you to read how Compass has evolved in this report.
Our Board is poised to help Amici meet the growing needs of our campers and families, and together, we will continue to support children as they gain life-long skills at summer camp for years to come.
Certainly none of this would be possible without our now 44 OCA-accredited Partner Camps, for whom we are tremendously grateful. Thank you to those who have dedicated your lives to supporting children to help them become the leaders of tomorrow.
As we gear up for another incredible, life-changing summer, it is important to take the time to stop and say thank you to you our donors, supporters, sponsors, Canoe Heads, volunteers, partners and friends.
