One Million Thank You’s

Participants and volunteers at Canoe Heads for Kids 2018!

On Saturday, June 2, 2018 history was made: over $1,000,000 raised in support of Amici campers since the inaugural Canoe Heads for Kids in 2007, including $223,000 raised in 2018 alone!

Passersby were in awe while a sea of pink took over the downtown core as 23 teams of participants portaged and paddled more than 70 canoes over 15 km. With 155 participants, this year’s event broke all kinds of records and we could not have done it without our incredible community.

A special highlight was a visit from Toronto Mayor, John Tory, to salute our participants and share his own love for camp.

On behalf of the entire Amici community, thank you to the participants, volunteers, donors and sponsors who made Canoe Heads 2018 one for the record books!

We hope to see you at Canoe Heads for Kids 2019 on Saturday, June 1. Register or donate today at www.canoeheadsforkids.com
