AMO, Receives a Special Invite to CharIN!
Hello lovely AMO Fam!
By now, you all know that AMO team has been uber busy making appearances at major smart car related exhibitions all around the world, right? Well, the most recent event that we attended was a bit *special*. Our team was invited by our amazing partner CharIN to attend the CharIN Asia Conference held in Bangkok.
CharIN is a non-profit association created to develop and establish the Combined Charging System (CCS) as the global standard for charging battery powered electric vehicles. It focuses on accelerating the evolution of charging related standards and defining a certification system for all manufacturers implementing CCS in their products. In other words, CC is the world’s only open and universal charging system for electric vehicles and its technology, along with the architecture has been enshrined in international standards!
Global companies like BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Daimler, Porsche, take great part in supporting CharIN as partners and was also present at the Bangkok event. So needless to say, our team had be there too, right? ;)
For all electric vehicles, whether they are on the road or even just being parked for charging power, it is crucial that all data being transacted is secured and protected. At any time electric vehicles are vulnerable to hacking or cyber attacks.
To elaborate on this topic and share the importance of security, AMO was invited to speak and showcase AutoCrypt, the world’s most advanced security solution for smart cars!
AMO’s Chief Evangelist, Mr. Jaeson Yoo had made a great speech on the necessity of sophisticated technology for car security. And there was great feedback! Loads have shown much appreciation and interests in our solutions and had many questions to ask! :) It was an awesome for experts from all around the world to share their passion and vision for smart car industry and bring wonderful ideas to the table.
