November 2015 update. We have had new ideas for the ground floor and basement… more to come.

Outside

It’s in a restricted area so we can’t change much on the outside. New dormer windows and roof of the extension becomes a flat, green roof.

From the top down

The Attic

Teen crash pad. Beds everywhere. Soundproofed floors. Exposed beams, rad gnarly mountain vibe. Available for rent when teenagers not around.

The Middle Floor

French windows open to balconies with views to the mountains. Parisian town house feel. We won’t be sleeping here — need to keep it rented to pay the mortgage.

The Ground Floor

Phase 2. The family home. Two beds, rumpus and a big open plan living area with steps down to sunken lounge and doors to terrace with (phase 5.5) hot tub! Folding door in entrance corridor can be opened up to link to upstairs flats to create one big house when friends and family visit.

The Basement

The basement is split in two. One half is part of the ground floor flat with rumpus room and shower, The other half is plant room and laundry and ski storage room.
