We start with site rendering in AMP format with an engine of its own using artificial intelligence to learn where the main content of the page that we will generate the AMP version is located (here we talk a little bit more about this process).
The AMP rendering software is divided into some services where one of them is the standard of HTML structure pattern (where we use artificial intelligence), after extracting the content the data is stored in another data storage service for the next Accesses be delivered faster and consequently climb the rank of organic search in searchers (Google for example), another service is responsible for periodically (this time is explicit in the description of the plan selected on the site of Amply) revisit the Indexed URL and update the stored data, so we avoid delivering outdated content to the searchers cache.
API for news metadata extraction (URL)
We are guided to need, all resources we have to launch comes from real needs and request from our users, with this came the need of our users (we are always open to implementing new features to improve the service). Thus emerging our public API. Some users sent e-mail (email@example.com) asking for access to the data used to generate the AMP sites and we decided to open our first version of API.
We have closed a partnership with RapidAPI (API Gateway) to distribute our API and be responsible for the ticketing of requests, so we remain focused on the evolution of the news metadata extraction service (proposal for the emergence of Amply).
What are the next features who’s coming?
We have a broad roadmap of evolution for Amply products (AMP Cloud Render and News Data Extract), but the focus is to improve each day more of our content recognition engine, thus bringing more metadata from the news that we are indexing.
