New Partner, new Speaker, new Opener!

We’re proud to announce
- Amsterdam is now an official partner,
- Our Deputy Major Kajsa Ollongren opens our AMSxTech conference,
- Next to that she also speaks about everything local.
Kajsa is the Swedish born Deputy Mayor of the City of Amsterdam. She believes everyone can start and contribute to the economy, typically the flood of refugees who have the skills but often not yet the ways.
This attitude towards work worked great for the last couple years because on the one hand she welcomes big international HQ’s and on the other lots of inventive refugees from among other countries, Syria.
Her responsibilities in the government are economy, air- and seaports, monuments, art and culture, local media and the city centre, so imagine there’s lots of interesting topics she can talk about.
Wow! That is all all very related to technology!
Her hands go deep into the local economical and technology scene and with strong international ties to hubs like New York City, this is a great opportunity for us to give her a stage to talk about the broadness and diversity of technology here in our lovely town.
