The analog future, by escape room and laser artist Victor van Doorn
Victor is one of Amsterdam’s finest, he is an instigator of ventures, experiments and experiences.
This fine man will speak at our conference like no other, be very aware of everything the 31st of March 2017, to find out what he’s all about, and what he’s up to with you ❌❌❌.
Behind every man, are three other men?
With Sherlocked he works with the great Pim, Micah and Tristan, the driving forces behind this escapade, and Victor has the honours to tell their story as well.
With the Beurs van Berlage based company right in the center of town — they like to inspire people to work with their hands and mind again. Sherlocked connects that Fingerspitzengefühl — underbelly feeling with your brain and with the brains you play with — through the use of play, riddles and mystery.
They work with the ancient history of the places they host their experiences, that’s the extra mile, which makes their adventures so breathtakingly sensational.
Then there’s lasers
Victor and his Uncover Mac customised Macbooks for some of the world’s biggest DJ’s, CEO’s and, the King of the Netherlands.
He founded Uncover, which makes MacBooks dramatically personal by cutting backlit designs out of the screens (replacing the luminous Apple logo).
This has also spun off into the founding of Uncover Lab, the ‘World’s first Tattoo Shop for Objects’ in Amsterdam.
With this Victor aims to deepen the relationship people have with their (analog) objects, in that sense, being able to respect them more.
His mission is to enrich the world with creative projects and play a part in improving our relationship with the planet.
Victor spoke at our conference about the future — about the analog side of things, the relationships we have with the people around us, and with this Earth-ship we live on.
Van Doorn is a usual suspect in and around town, he’s sort of a enigma, working on some of the most admirable projects, often just for fun and mostly serious. He’s one of a kind, and cannot be missed.
