A Proud Auntie Moment
Watching something go from a little idea to an honored memory
Though I haven’t done one in several months, most of my followers know I used to do a monthly Word-A-Day prompt series. I had a lot of fun putting those together and read a lot of awesome pieces that came about because of those daily off-the-wall words.
My beautiful friend, , a.k.a. Celinka Serre, has done something that makes me so proud I could just burst. She’s published an e-book on Gumroad that started out as a few words from one of my Word-A-Day lists.
I did a post for the month of October, 2023. From that list, Bink came up with the idea of a story about pirate brothers. I loved the idea and couldn’t wait to read the chapters. She did six of them, and I actually fell in love with one of the characters.
Since that time, I’ve published several serials for Bink and will continue to do so as I just love her writing. However, it was a post I noticed on my feed today that caused my heart to swell with pride. I noticed she’d posted a piece about that story, in full, published e-book form. I…
