Tomato Jam

A South African recipe with ginger.

Tomato jam. Ahh, wonderful memories. We grew tomatoes by the dozens on our small farm. When the tomatoes were ripe mom canned, made jam, and gave lots of tomatoes away.

We loved tomato jam. Dad, and I, enjoyed it spread generously on thick white crusty bread. Boy, did we stuff ourselves with tomato jam!
