What Does It Mean to Be A Woman?

A Reflection

Photo by Jonathan Borba on Unsplash

I really don’t know what being a woman means to me these days.

I know I was once a girl because the world seemed quite keen on telling me that I was. And most of what that meant was a truckload of limitations. Of oppression. Of ‘boys will be boys’, but you can’t do x, y, or z because you’re a girl and girls shouldn’t behave that way.
