Random Startup Idea #1 — Contextual Spell-checker

An Attempt at Writing

Somebody should make a contextual spell-checker. One letter can change a word to another word with a completely new meaning. To most people unless you are extremely careful it’s not that easy to catch these mistakes. Somebody I know wrote “investment baking” instead of “investment banking” in a cover-letter and guess what happened?

Ok that someone was me and it’s completely my fault. But I am surprised there aren’t any spell-checkers to tell me I may have spelled something wrong based on the context of what I am writing. I am sure “investment baking” is great but dangit. Somebody make this so that Microsoft, Apple or Google can buy you off and as a result help out bad spellers like me.
