5 DIY Container Ideas For Plants

DIYs are taken, always taken as an ‘in-trend”..! Re-composing anything by utilizing old things are always welcomed. Nowadays it's a great trend on the internet too..!Why wouldn’t it be? After all, Sustainability is the New Economics and Science for Survival. Have you ever considered DIY for planting? If not, here are a few DIY container ideas for plants.
1.USE YOUR COFFEE MUGS

All of us have that one favourite coffee mug gifted by friends or keenly chose and purchased, but accidentally broke its handle.! And now finding it hard to let go? Here is how it can be used as a DIY container and you absolutely have to do nothing. Broken Coffee Mugs can be considered as a plant container for your table plants. They will not just look stylish and elegant but also keep your loved mugs right in-front of your eyes. However, while watering please be careful. Pour lesser water at a time.
Coffee mugs are great for planting succulents.
2.WOODS ARE MAGICAL

Wooden plant containers may require a little bit of your effort. The main advantage of using wood to create a container is that it can be framed into any shape: Triangle, Rectangle, Square, Octagon, etc. Wood can straight be collected from the forest or from an old wooden box, shelves … etc.! It can be utilized to create a beautiful wooden plant container.
3.WASTE CONTAINERS- PLASTIC AND TIN

Containers both plastic and tin or aluminium are very easily available in the household. They are light, rigid and has the capacity to lodge substances. The containers while using as planter may require small holes at the bottom for drainage and they can be used as great plant containers. It may require to be cut horizontally as well vertically as per choice and it is ready to install plants in them.
4.GLASS BOTTLES

Glass bottles, bottles of pickles etc can also be used as planters. They are transparent and rigid which can create a classic look for your plant. The water in the glass bottles may require to be changed every three days or so.
5.WRAP THE ROPE

Jute ropes can give a new look to your planters. Drape a Jute rope around your planter uniformly. You can also use gum to stick them at the two ends. You can use different colours for some extra drama in them.
BONUS TIP
If you belong to any Asian countries with a high quantity of Bamboos being cultivated, then this is for you..!! Bamboo stems can be used as plant containers. This gives a natural look to your plant, and also prepare an Asian-inspired garden.

SO, here was my list of DIYs to use for new plant containers. I believe, Giving a structure to a ‘nothing into something’ is a real satisfaction. It sprouts out creativity from within.
