A must-see itinerary in Tuscany- Part I — Lucca
I’m still trying to find the right words to tell you about the Tuscan region, but where would I start? After spending nine days in several wonderful cities in this region that left me speechless. A Fiat Punto embarked with me and my boyfriend on our wonderful Tuscany itinerary from Lucca, Florence, Siena, Rome, Piombino and finally Pisa.
Tuscan region is even better than I imagined from the photos I’ve ever seen.
Mostly throughout this region, hills and mountain formations predominate and that is how our journey began on the way to these same formations to find the city of Lucca surrounded by its wall.
Lucca, the city that in its picturesque streets defines a true Italian atmosphere from medieval times.
To get to know the historic city of Lucca I recommend doing it on foot or by bicycle. Walking on foot within the town is greatly facilitated as car movement is restricted in most areas.
