Yachts have become a status symbol for many millionaires, maintaining a yacht is not easy, it needs a lot of effort and money, no wonder only millionaires can buy it. These humongous machines provide huge amount of pleasure, satisfaction & luxury. Sometimes these luxury yachts can put a shame to many expensive million dollar mansions.

Every yacht runs on diesel, but the $650 million yacht which is rumoured to be bought by the tech tycoon Bill Gates will run on Hydrogen, yes you read it correct Hydrogen. Looking at Tesla’s growth we always think that electric is the future, we never consider Hydrogen into the game, but Bill Gates believes that hydrogen is the future.

The hydrogen powered yacht is named Sinot Aqua, this super yacht is rumoured to be commissioned by none other that Bill Gates. Let’s see what this yacht is all about.

Yacht enthusiasts and extremely rich were amazed when the Sino Yacht and Architecture unveiled something which was never seen in this world at the 2019 fall Monaco Yacht Show, visitors were surprised when they saw a miniature model and concept of a 367 foot long hydrogen powered super yacht dubbed Sinot Aqua. Everyone wanted to have one, but there was one problem, one big problem, this super yacht was way out of their price range. The Sinot Aqua is priced at $650 million, which is way too expensive for a normal person to buy, and also makes this yacht one of the most expensive yachts on this planet.

Sinot AQUA

Designing something this impressive doesn't happen overnight, designer Sander Sinot spent 5 long months designing this unique hydrogen super yatch. The Sinot Aqua looks like something straight out of science-fiction thanks to its sleek design. You’d be forgiven for thinking this was a spaceship from the future and not a palatial superyacht. The Sinot Aqua will feature 2 28-ton vacuum-sealed tanks of liquid hydrogen stored at -423 F that will allow the superyacht to reach a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 3,750 nautical miles. A spacious formal dining room, hydro-massage room, 2 VIP staterooms, 4 regular state rooms, space for jet skis, a cascading infinity pool, cinema, gym, yoga studio, and Japanese-inspired quarters are just some of the luxurious features that set the Sinot Aqua apart from other superyachts already on the market. Imagine landing on the helipad via passenger drone. Spending a day on this impressive eco-friendly superyacht would be a once in a lifetime experience. The Sinot Aqua could cost as much as $65 million to operate per year and will require a crew of 31 people.

The Sinot Aqua puts all other yachts to shame. The yacht looks like it was made in the year 2100. The days are gone when millionaires spent huge amount of money in filling up the diesel tanks, now they can use the same amount of money in filling their champagne fluids.

The tanks will be viewable through the glass panel at the base of the luxurious spiral stair at the centre of the vessel. AQUA contains an exclusive hydro massage room, where passengers can revel in massages administered by soothing, pressurised water jets. History Supreme — $4.8 Billion

There’s a backup diesel engine just in case. But hopefully a backup diesel engine won't be required. Yes the time will come when these engines will be extinguished. Everything that a man desires is present on this yacht. The Sinot AQUA will look so graceful when it hits the open seas, the AQUA will have 5 decks. You can store upto 3 jet skies and 2 tender boats.

"Our challenge was to implement fully operational liquid hydrogen and fuel cells in a true super yacht that is not only ground breaking in technology but also in design and aesthetics," lead designer Sander Sinot in a press release.

The exterior was inspired by the flow of ocean swells, resulting in curved exteriors lines and glass band windows.

There is a master pavilion, two VIP state rooms, and four regular state rooms. All rooms feature floor to ceiling windows and a minimalistic, Japanese-inspired style.

Amenities include a cascading infinity pool and extensive outdoor lounging space.

In addition to a number of casual indoor-outdoor entertaining spaces, there is a formal dining area that seats 14.

The yacht also has an expensive indoor health and wellness centre featuring a gym, a hydro-massage room, and a yoga studio, reflecting the wealthy’s growing interest in wellness as a status symbol.

The Sinot Aqua is an innovation. This is something which other Industrialists should watch and learn, this super yacht not only is the best yacht but also contributes in saving our mother earth.
