If you are a cinephile and a food lover, undoubtedly these films have to be part of your repertoire.
1. Big Night (1996 ) Watch - Trailer
This movie is fantastic and could be called a gourmet movie. A comedy-drama about two immigrant brothers Chef Primo (Tony Shalhoub) Secondo (Stanley Tucci) from Italy who open their dream restaurant.
I recommend you eat something first before start watching this movie because the food consumed and prepared during the film will have you drooling.
2. Chef (2014) Watch - Trailer
Is A Must Watch
This is the story of Chef Carl Casper (John Favreau) quits his job at a popular Los Angeles restaurant and buys a food truck.
This movie is about a chef finding himself rediscovering his passion for food and family.
3. Today Special (2009) Watch — Trailer
The best movie about the secret of spices.
This film is about a young Manhattan chef called Samir who is forced to put his dreams to go to Paris after his father gets sick and he has the responsibility to keep the family business alive.

Fried Green Tomatoes is an American drama. It is based on Fannie Flagg's 1987 novel called Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

Remi is a determined young rat that dreams of becoming a famous french chef. He has exceptional talent for cooking and enjoys the finest things in life, with the help that his human friend Linguini together they create a signature masterpiece called Ratatouille.
9. Chocolat (2000) Watch - Trailer
This film is about a single mother (Juliette Binoche) and her little daughter. A series of unexpected events are waiting for her when she decides to move to a small village in France to open a very unusual chocolate shop.
This movie will make you get up from your seat and open that box of chocolate that you had saved to give on a special occasion.
10. The Trip to Italy (2014) Watch -Trailer
British comedy written and directed by Michael Winterbottom.
It is the sequel of Winterbottom’s TV series. Two friends (Steven Coogan, Rob Brydon) reunite for a tour of Italy’s finest food.
11. Haute Cuisine (2012) Watch - Trailer
Based on the true story of Daniele Mazet — Delpeuch first female chef for the president of France. (Jean d’Ormesson) The story is framed by Hortense Laborie about the authenticity of her cooking.
This is one of the best movies you could watch on a cozy evening at home.
12. Julie & Julia (2009) Watch -Trailer
This film is a comedy-drama film written and directed by Nora Ephron starring Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, Stanley Tucci
Based on two true stories. The film is inspired by the life of the chef Julia Child and the life of Julie Powell who was inspired to cook all 524 recipes in Child’s cookbook in 365 days.
