Keep buggering on

Photo by Pradeep Gajjam on Unsplash

hearts break
love ends

beauty wanes
fame fades

mobs rage
hate harms

markets crash
greed gobbles

loyalty withers
relationships decay

form abandons
talents languish

fingers fumble
nations stumble

summers burn
winters chill

resolve weakens
promises broken

protestors branded
bigotry bandied

cameras courted
justice blinded

but then…

efforts persist
goodness resists

hope springs
intellect binds

rains refresh
dreams bloom

tides roll
waves rock

stories written
songs played

moments pause
memories treasured

rotate revolve
be as it may
life survives
life finds a way…
