Liminal

Ever real but rarely here

Silent building, swelling tsunami

Awareness of and accepting of

The liminal space that’s emanating

Many times before I’ve endured this flow

That brings newfound clarity and discovered purpose

Stewing in the froth like a frog to boil

The process cannot be sidestepped

Only trudged through with persistent trust

That the change will bring another step towards enlightenment

Discovering the buried, uncovering true self

Career or family, health or faith

The space is the buffering for our sensitivity

To the fact I turned right rather than left

At a stop sign a no longer remember
