Whenever, wherever
I know you are there
To talk, to reason
To guide and to steer

I might be grown up
But I still need you
To give me your love
And all else that you do

Like a cub to the lion
A puppy to the dog
I need you to help me
Through life’s mist and fog

At the end of the day
I will always be glad
Because the two of you
Are my mum and dad
