Statistics Can Lie

Years back when I was in graduate school working on my master’s degree, I took a statistics course and I learned a couple of things: 1) I hate statistics, and more importantly, 2) statistics can lie if not properly put into context.

Regarding the so-called Covid-19 pandemic, the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test is the key to everything in terms of the fearmongering that the mainstream media and politicians rely. For what seems like an eternity, the mainstream media and politicians (liberals and so-called conservatives) urged the public to take precautions such as wearing a mask and stay home. Furthermore, states like California, New York, New Jersey, and others, have “shutdown” closing businesses and schools in an attempt to “slow the spread” of covid-19. These mitigation strategies have caused wide spread unemployment and have a devastating impact on the mental health of citizens.

Therefore, when you understand that the PCR test that is used to determine whether someone “is positive” for covid-19 is flawed and unreliable, you should be infuriated by all the ramifications these positive tests create for society. The main aspect of the test revolves around the number of cycles these test are ran to “determine” positivity. The number of amplifications that are performed, or cycle threshold, in most American and European labs is 35–40 cycles, but experts have claimed that even 35 cycles is far too many, and that a more reasonable protocol would call for 25–30 cycles. (Each cycle exponentially increases the amount of viral DNA in the sample).

In other words, the experts understand that the number of false positives that exist are tremendous, yet politicians, the mainstream media, and bureaucrats like Dr. Anthony Fauci continually talk about the surging “case” numbers that exist and how we must “wear a mask”, and “cancel Thanksgiving” and the like. Indeed, during an interview with Twiv, (This Week in Virology), Dr. Fauci has acknowledged that the PCR test cycles matter regarding the detection of a true positive result:

“If you get [perform the test at] a cycle threshold of 35 or more…the chances of it being replication-confident [aka accurate] are miniscule…you almost never can culture virus [detect a true positive result] from a 37 threshold cycle…even 36…”

In other words, the PCR test is a useless test that only is good for diagnosing nothing and producing “case” numbers that are then used to promote fear and compliance from an uninformed public.

Portugal Judges Got It Right

Portuguese judges earlier in November (2020) upheld a decision from a lower court that found the forced quarantine of four holidaymakers to be unlawful. The decision revolved around whether or not the PCR test was reliable. Well, the notion that the PCR test can identify who truly has covid-19 and whether or not they are contagious was something that the court disagreed with and therefore, ruled in favor of the complainants.

This should be a massive story. However, the fact that the mass media and politicians rely on these positive tests to scare the public into compliance probably has a lot to do with why this story has not gotten the traction it deserves.

Asymptomatic Fallacy?

Another argument regarding the PCR test is that everyone should get tested for covid-19, even if they don’t have symptoms because they could be asymptomatic and spread the virus to others unknowingly. According to researchers, between 25%-50% of people are asymptomatic and unware they “have the virus”. However, the question remains in my mind whether or not “asymptomatic” or in other words, healthy people can even spread the virus. Earlier in the beginning of the pandemic, the World Health Organization (WHO) caught a lot of flak when they reported “asymptomatic spread of covid-19 is very rare”. The WHO quickly backtracked their statement and stated that “much is still unknown”. Sounds political to me.

Moreover, earlier in the pandemic, the WHO’s stance on mask wearing was that only sick people and those around them, such as health providers, should wear a mask and not the general public. If you read my previous articles, Give Me Liberty and Give Me Breath and COVID-1984: Three Truths That Are Hiding in Plain Sight, you will see that this same stance was taken by Dr. Fauci and the United States Surgeon General, Jerome Michael Adams. However, things changed dramatically, and now the majority of the United States are mandated to wear masks to “slow the spread” of covid-19. Even if you are not (sick) you are required to wear a mask, because you could be “asymptomatic”. The only thing that is spreading are the lies these bureaucratic elites and mainstream media talking heads are spreading.

R-E-L-A-X

In short, there is a virus, people do get sick, and yes, people have died (with covid). However, this notion that if you do not wear your mask or social distance, or if you attend that holiday party you will get sick and die is a total crock of bull. The case numbers presented on a daily basis by the mainstream media and politicians are at best, unreliable and quite possibly fabricated. As a free man within this country, I say to all, DO NOT listen or believe what the mainstream media is conveying about case numbers because they are LYING to you. Do your own research and use common sense.

For all my cheese heads out there, when it comes to covid case numbers and the fear porn that is disseminated on a daily basis, I would give you a piece of advice from one of the best quarterbacks in the game, Aaron Rodgers — -R-E-L-A-X!
