All of us have been carried somewhere safe by someone’s good name.

Ellen asks, “eh . . . . Why are we doing this again?”

Clyde explains, “his mother.”

“Let me get this clear,” Ellen continues. “You are doing all of these good deeds because of his mother?”

“Yeah,” Clyde answers.

“Isn’t she . . . . . kind of dead?”

“Yea, but she was a good woman.”

“So, you are aiding and abetting him to live off his mother’s good name.”

Clyde turns to look at her and asks, “you got a problem with that?”

Ellen nods then inquire, “At what point will he be able to live off his own good name?”

“He is young, he will learn?” Clyde defends.

“Theresa Hill was his mother?”

“Yes,” Clyde answers dragging his words while eyeing her with his glasses on the edge of his nose.

“She sets the bar very, very high. What happens if he isn’t able to touch that bar?”

“What are you, the Associated Press? Why?” Clyde spurred in annoyance.

“I am just wondering?” Ellen defends her actions.

“I gave you the same opportunity because of your father’s good name. Why are you trying to sink the…
