Our minds are wired to think linearly about the future. However, the future is weird, non-linear, and unpredictable. Innovations we are currently witnessing are wild and non-linear. Exponential changes are hard to grasp, and our biological minds are not well equipped to deal with them. A penny doubling every day for 31 days will become $10,737,418.24. Such is the power of compounding and exponential thinking. Yet, we tend to underestimate the values of radical learning, experimentation, innovation, moonshot thinking, and long term focus.

In this post, I would like to share a lecture from my module “Employability, Creativity, and Personal Development”. It explores the future of artificial intelligence and individual resilience. I taught this online lecture last week, and I thought it might be a good resource for young individuals interested in the future of technology, jobs, and employability.
