The Indifference of good men

My experience in Public Transit was an eye-opener and told me a lot about our Society.

This morning I was on BART, like I normally am, going on my phone and looking as social media posts. I was surprised to hear a woman near me say “Stop, please leave me alone!” I looked over and there was a younger man standing over her, his hand on her arm. He was leering at her and talking to her in a very drunk voice. Without thinking I yelled “HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE!” and he stopped and came over to me. We glared at each other for a while and we both heard a woman calling the cops. The Man…
