People always asking us about what is your degree pursuing, and how far it could be beneficial for you.

What kind of career would you have after graduation and how much salary you will earn is a type of question that we often get.

But people often forget that the fundamental thing about education is to enhance human perception.
How to make things useful in society, you could see a human, a bunch of people, but there is no society there. There is a human in society, but there is not always society in a human.

A human being should find their full potential in life. Life is consist of human, society, thoughts, and we’re all should be useful in Life.

We’re not trying to serve life something else.

Because the highest manifestation here (in the world) is life itself. All the social structures are here to assist and serve life, but unfortunately today we’re living in life to serve the social structure. We live to attain the highest income in our society, in our hierarchy, that is the irony.

The education today is more like a fascist because it is all about slave-ing people to serve what the social structure needs of whatever the people thinking. For example, we want to make the biggest mechanical industry in the world, so we raise our children to study mechanical engineering to make a new engineer in the next 10–20 years, but it shouldn’t be like that, the goal is to be useful, to educate people. Because you’re having an education, you could be an engineer.

Education systems in school today is turnout to fulfill the industrial age and meet them with the factory workers in the future.

Why?

The school is designed for students to follow the instructions, such as
“ Please sit down, take out your book” or you should come to school with such a uniform, black shoes are necessary and etc. At school now, they’re rewarded for doing exactly what they’re told, they’re being awarded as the best behavior student for doing that because their success depends on doing such repetition and instructions.

Success should be interpreted as a creative person and those who communicate their ideas and collaborate with others, but now children don’t get much chance to develop their skills, passion, and wants. It is such a shame because we should make our own decision regarding what you want to do or when we want to do from a young age.

The idea of linear education is also misleading today. It is said that if we start from a point and we do everything right and stays on the path, we will definitely reach our goals and survive our whole life. If we go to school from elementary school and follow all the paths that have been set up to college, we will definitely get a job and live happily.

We send our children to school in order to have a preparation to face the real world ahead, but in the journey towards that, there’s always a bumpy road, there will always be. And it is parent, and school responsibility to make children up to the end of the road.

At school children is lack of their self-control. They can’t control their own time because the system has made a schedule for children to follow into it. They’re not in charge of their own life and decisions.
Most children don’t like school because in school they are not free.
They are not doing what they want to do and what they want to be.

Most of the time at school is about memorization ideas and things. The system is about to make children remember what they’re learning, not to understand it. Then, every few months schools measure how much the students remember it by doing an exam.

Learning should not be just memorizing and retention, it should be way higher. And because of that, students eager to learn just because they want good grades and score on exams and it makes an unhealthy culture.

Children also often find that there is no room for passion at school. Everyone should learn and being experts at primary subjects, such as biology, maths, physics, and make music, arts, and speech an extracurricular. Even though there’s always a student who is not good at math but ambidextrous at football and most of the school nowadays doesn’t even have a room for that.

We do have an extremely standardization of knowledge in school because each child has to learn the same thing and the same way as everyone else. It is a misleading concept because as a human being we do have a unique and different perspective of how we think, and indeed we all have a different passion.

Ken Robinson once said,

“ The answer to the future is not about coming up with a new solution, but creating a movement in education where people can develop their own solutions but with outside help based on a personalized curriculum. “

Personalized education will also help solve the problem of enthusiasm (passion) that many people have lost. Enthusiasm grows and develops when people do things they love, they are good at.

I’m not saying that we don’t need school,
I’m not saying that school is bad either,
but maybe in the past, a concept like this was a suitable concept to be applied to schools and now it seems that there must be a changing concept in schools to suit today’s generation.

Life isn’t always about expecting income and social structure, but to think and how to be useful in society, and education should be proper transportation for that.
