So what are my top 10 foods for a quick brain that are nutritious and delicious? I’m gonna give you my Bouga quote-unquote list, let’s go through my top 10 really fast.

1. Avocados

I’ll say number one is avocados, this is your fatty fruit right, your good fat your monosaturated fat that helps, keep healthy blood flow.

2. Blueberries

Right, blueberries delicious, I call them brain berries, you protect your quick brain from oxidative stress, it reduces the effects of brain aging conditions, there have been studies done with blueberries and rats that improved overall learning capacity, motor skills, and aging rats making them mentally younger.

You always have to remember coconut oil, right these are medium-chain fats. This ignites your body’s fat-burning furnace to turn on, and it helps create ketones that fuel your brain.

Salmon if it’s in your diet, that’s good, and I’m talking about wild deep-water fish rich in DHA. Sardines are good too.

8. Turmeric

Turmeric reduces inflammation also helps boost antioxidant levels and keep your immune system healthy, while also improving your brain’s oxygen intake so keeping you alert and able to process information, I start most of my days with turmeric tea, like a golden tea, I take some turmeric pepper which helps it absorb better, I add a little bit of honey and coconut oil and some hot water and that’s why I like to start my day.

9. Walnuts

Number nine is walnuts, these are high levels of antioxidants, vitamin E protects your neurons, they ward off brain aging conditions, high levels of zinc and magnesium, which are really good for your mood, and being in a good mood is definitely good for your brain performance, and I say the best for last.

10. Dark Chocolate

I love dark chocolate. This is the most delicious brain booster, helps with your focus, your concentration, it stimulates endorphins which improve your mood again, and generally when it comes to chocolate, I’m thinking the darker, the purer, the better for your brain.

I do want to add number eleven because it’s very important, it’s kind of a given, but I would say water. Just remember to hydrate your brain, your body is about 75% water, and there have been all kinds of studies determining that well-hydrated people score better on brainpower tests compared to people who do not drink enough H2O.

Conclusion

Just a bonus tip on this is how do you get this into your diet? Right, you know it’s nutritious for you, for me I always want something elegant, so I want it to be easy, and easy because if it’s not easy we’re not going to do it, so a lot of these ingredients I actually put into, to my brain smoothie, think about our brain smoothie right into a blender I take the water, I take the green leafy vegetables, I take the blueberries, I take the avocado, I take some coconut oil, I put it into a blender and then that will be my brain smoothie for the day.
