Everybody is doing digital transformation. AI and machine learning are embedded into the majority of our daily apps. We have all tried or at least seen those ugly VR glasses.

For most of the time, the energy industry was decades behind the consumer world. CDs were more popular than SaaS apps. Yet, this is changing. The adoption of digital technologies is astonishing. And I am not talking about brownfield coal power plants. Every major climate tech solution is being built with SaaS and data aspects in mind.

Back to the future

Growing up in the 90s and 2000s was a fantastic experience. Unfortunately, there is not much of a record of that since it was mainly analog. None of the crazy things I did are captured in social media. Facebooks and Twitters became popular toward the end of the 2000s.
