The Story of The Old WATCH
A father before died said to his son:
“This is a watch your grandfather gave and this is more than 200 years old, but before I give it to you go to the watch shop on the first street, and tell him I want to sell it, and see how much it is.”
The son went to the watch shop and then came back to his father, and said; the watchmaker said he’ll pay $5 dollars because it’s old.
The father said; “Well, try the pawnshop.”
The son went to the pawnshop, came back to his father, and said; “The pawnshop offered only $35 because it has a scratch”
The father said; “Go to the Museum and show that watch.” The son went to the museum and then came back, and said to his father; “they offered me a Million-dollar for this piece.”
The father said; “I want to let you know that the right place values your value in the right way. Don’t put yourself in the wrong place and get angry if they don’t value you.
Who knows your value is who appreciate you, don’t stay in a place that doesn’t suit you.
People who don’t recognize their price accept below they’re worth. In relationships. once it involves their profession… or their job… or their friendships… They know they are worth more; however, they settle for somebody else’s definition of their worth.
You see… that’s the distinction between MOST PEOPLE and the few. that’s the difference between folks that LOVE the life they need created for themselves and those who CAN’T STAND the life they are living.
People who don’t know their value accept but they’re worth. In relationships. When it involves their profession… or their job… or their friendships… They know they’re worth more, but they accept someone else’s definition of their worth.
You see… that’s the difference between most of the people and therefore the few. that’s the difference between people that LOVE the life they need created for themselves and people who CAN’T STAND the life they’re living.
YOU HAVE to understand YOUR WORTH!
Most people will allow almost anyone to influence their perception of themselves… But people that love their life refuse to simply accept the opinions of small-minded people.
They refuse to be put during a box. they’re going to not be defined by anyone but themselves. They know their value is about by themselves, by their own thoughts about who they’re, not someone else’s opinion of what they’re worth.
Don’t allow them to put a price on you! You set your own price! And don’t go giving discounts to people so you’ll slot in or be liked… People pleasers never find yourself happy within the end. Put yourself first.
You must build your self-worth by the work you are doing every day… on yourself. You build it by the way that you simply show up every single day .
Day in, day out, no excuses, no shortcuts, just a relentless dedication to be the simplest that they will be.
If you’ve got someone in your life that tries to diminish your abilities in any way… The time has come to move those people along.
