We all love our four-legged furry friends. They love us unconditionally. They comfort us after long, hard days. They give us the affection that even our significant others would laugh at if we asked for it. And we are always looking for new ways to take care of these pups and kitties.

In recent years, CBD has been introduced as an amazing tool to help your pets through tough situations. We all know how hard it can be to deal with anxious and skittish animals, so providing care is a priority high on the list.

Remember, the best way to administer CBD to an animal is under the tongue. The best rule of thumb is 1–5 mg per 10 pounds of body weight, or as directed on specific packaging. You can always add liquid CBD into food or treats as well! Please allow between 30–60 minutes for CBD to take full effect. Primarily the effects will be reduction of pain, a more docile and relaxed disposition, and potential sleepiness. Context is everything, so make sure you are prepared and pay close attention to how your dog or cat responds to the CBD dosage and specific product.

Because long stretches in the car can be stressful and physically disorienting to pets, give CBD to your animal during travel longer than 2 hours in the car.

Trip to the vet today? Pull out the CBD and help ease their nerves.

Anticipating loud noises on 4th of July Fireworks? Offer CBD to your pet.

Flying with your dog or cat?
Administer CBD one hour before boarding to ensure the effects to settle in.

Little bud feeling under the weather? CBD may help provide some relief from potential pain and nausea that your pup may be feeling.

Leaving for a trip? Make sure to provide your dog sitter with some backup CBD in case of the nerves and to ease the tension.

Unfortunately having to leave your furry friend at the kennel? Ask the staff if they provide CBD. Many pet providers and practitioners keep CBD products handy for their guests!

Sometimes the storms are just too strong to sleep. Give your dog a dose to help them get through the night if some strong fronts are coming through.

Hosting a party and baby girl getting a little to rowdy? Or maybe you’re expecting guests who are timid around bigger dogs? CBD can be a great way for your dog to relax and prevent overstimulation.

And sometimes you don’t need a reason and just want your best friend to feel amazing. Go ahead.

We know you love your dogs. And we love them too!

Make sure they get the best care and the best CBD. You can find all of our pet products at Anaviimarket.com/collections/hemp-for-pets.
