Introducing Anchor’s new Cover Art Creator

Now you can instantly create incredible cover art for your podcast through our new partnership with Unsplash and their vast library of high-quality, free images.

Having beautiful, eye-catching cover artwork for your podcast is one the most impactful ways you can get it heard by new listeners. This shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, if you’ve ever browsed through albums at a record store, or stacks of books at the library, you’ve probably chosen something new just because of how awesome it looked. But if you don’t happen to be an experienced photographer or designer, that shouldn’t hold you back from having great cover art that shows off your podcast’s personality and gets it discovered.

That’s why we are so excited to introduce Anchor’s new Cover Art Creator. We’ve teamed up with Unsplash (the world’s best library of high quality, free photos) for the easiest way to make gorgeous podcast cover artwork by giving you access to a curated image library that is totally free to use even if you’re monetizing your podcast. Plus, you can customize the fonts and layout of your podcast name on top of the image to quickly design your cover art in an instant. It’s the easiest way to make high-quality podcast art, ever.

Here’s how it works:

• Find your image. Choose a photo from the Unsplash library by searching for the keyword(s) relevant to your podcast. Once you pick the one you like best, you can zoom and crop the image however you like. (You can also, of course, upload your own image.)
• Style your text. Now you can add your podcast’s title to the image with a custom design. You can get creative with text options, by customizing the font, shape, placement, and color of your podcast title.

To try it out and give your podcast a brand new look, just pop into your Anchor settings on iPhone, iPad, Android, or web and hit the “Update Cover Art” button. (Note that you may need to set up your podcast before seeing this option.) We can’t wait to see – and hear – your next work of art!
