In today’s world, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of adult responsibilities, the constant barrage of political debates, religious differences, and the never-ending arguments on social media. We’re bombarded with opinions, many of them divisive, and it can feel overwhelming trying to navigate through the noise. It’s exhausting, isn’t it? But what if there was a way to step back, to find peace not just for ourselves, but for the world around us?

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on something profound yet simple: the world could be a much better place if we stopped engaging in these divisive behaviors and instead, started acting like kids again.

Remembering the Joys of Childhood

As children, we found joy in the simplest of things. A cool rock discovered on a walk could be the highlight of our day. New shoes made us feel like we could run faster, jump higher, and conquer the world. We didn’t need much to be happy; the world was our playground, and everything was fascinating.

When was the last time you rolled down a grassy hill, built a fort out of blankets and pillows, or simply lay on your back, watching clouds drift by, imagining they were all sorts of magical creatures? These were the moments that defined our childhoods, moments where wonder, joy, and a sense of connection were at the forefront.
