ADB 119: Kotlin with Andrey Breslav
The latest podcast episode is an interview with the lead language designer for Kotlin at Jetbrains
In this latest episode, Tor Norbye and Romain Guy spoke with Andrey Breslav, the lead language designer for Kotlin at Jetbrains. They talked about coroutines, flow, performance, islands near St. Petersburg, evolution of the language, and many other Kotlin-y things.
Wondering what “ADB” is? It stands for Android Developers Backstage, a podcast by and for Android developers. The show is hosted by Tor Norbye (from the Android Studio team), Romain Guy (from the Android Toolkit team), and me (in the Android Developer Relations team). We talk to engineers about how stuff works.
Most of our guests are from the Android platform itself, mostly because it’s easier to schedule interviews with people that are just down the hall. But we also talk with external developers, as we did in this latest episode.
The podcast should be available on whatever app you use for podcasting. You can also download the mp3 file directly if that’s your preference; there’s a link in the Blogger site below.
p.s. After 119 episodes of our podcast, I wondered if it would be helpful to promote it somewhere besides Blogger and the podcast feed. If people like the reminder here, we’ll try to remember to do this again for future episodes.
