Ok maybe you’ve heard of it? StrongLoop that is. They were acquired by IBM back in September 2015, and it was pretty big news. And now they’re an #AH10 sponsor, and we couldn’t be more pumped. Why? AWESOME TECH.

Oh and any team/project that uses LoopBack in the application created at the event is qualified for prizes and rewards based on their usage.

So, what is it?

LoopBack is an open source tool, created by StrongLoop, for rapidly building Node.js API applications. In addition to the speed it provides for quickly developing full RESTful CRUD API endpoints, LoopBack is built on top of Express, the most widely used Node.js web framework, which makes serving web UIs a breeze.

LoopBack, because it is built on top of Express, is also very extensible, so whatever your application needs should be within reach.

So basically, we’re ecstatic that we’ve got StrongLoop as a sponsor for this Series. There’s so much potential for our hackers projects when they utilize the platform, so we can’t wait to see what happens!
