The concert starts off with Joshua Sales introducing the YS11 Concert to everyone followed by Venice Velasco introducing and welcoming the first performance of the concert, which is “Narda” by Kamikazee performed by Joshua Sales, Hanz Gregorio, and Nykos Benson.

Overall, this performance is really good even though the performance was dubbed over, the Drums by Benson and the Guitar by Sales was really good plus his vocals alongside Hanz was pretty good as well.

The next performance is by Andrea Sakhrani and the song is a classic, which is “Hey Soul, Sister” by Train. The performance was really nice and chill and her singing was really good even though it was quiet, it added to the chill vibe.

The next performance is another classic which is “Beautiful Girls” by Sean Kingston and once again sung by Hanz Gregorio. In this performance, there are no instrumental covers, just the singing of Hanz while the beat is playing in the background which was fine as he holds out on his own in this performance.

The next performance is by Charisse Poquiz and the song “I Need You More Today” by Caleb Santos. This is another chill one and a really melancholic sad vibe as you hear the piano in the background plus her singing add to the melancholy of this performance.

The next performance is a song from the classic duo, Air Supply, and their song “Having You Near Me”, performed solo by Jedrex Pacao. This was a really good performance and one of my favorites from this concert as Jedrex’s voice was really good even without a proper microphone, I’m pretty sure this performance would still be good even without the instrumentals in the background.

The next performance is by Luiz Angeles and the song is “214” by Rivermaya. Just like Jedrex’s performance, this was really good even though there wasn’t a proper microphone, but at times the instrumental piano does get louder than his vocals but overall, it was still pretty good.

The next performance is a Filipino classic which is “Hanggang Kailan” by Orange and Lemons and performed by Ecko Endaya. This performance was really strong as Ecko’s voice was really powerful throughout the whole performance even though the instrumentals were low.

The next performance is by Sam Reondanga and the song is “Kanlungan” by Noel Cabangon. This performance is one of the strongest ones out of this concert as Sam’s voice was really loud, powerful, and complimented the piano in the background really well.

This next one is a triple performance by Lakeisha Cheng, Jennea Samson, and Aimee Caidic and the song is a really old and timeless classic by Elvis Presley called “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. This one is another chill one with their singing really complimenting the ukulele played by Lakeisha, this one overall has a summer vibe.

The next performance is another triple one by Luiz, Angeles, Sam Reondanga, and Jedrex Pacao and the song is “It will rain” from pop icon Bruno Mars. This one is another melancholic yet very powerful performance by all three of them as their voices really bring out the emotions expressed in this song, one of my favorite’s performances in this concert.

This next performance is by Enrico Uy, and Nykos Benson and they are performing the song “Kaya natin ‘to”. This performance was really upbeat and hopeful as it gives the feeling of joy and reassurance in the person complimented by the guitar performance of Enrico, and the tapping skills of Nykos.

Overall, this whole concert was really good and I could definitely see the people had fun singing and performing in this concert, and let’s not forget the director, Kirsten Briones; the host, Venice Velasco; the editor, James Calub; the music and documentation committee for assembling this wonderful project.
