Cyclists of yesterday and today, they tell us why they chose bike for commuting.

Alice, 34 years old, projectionist, a cyclist for 6 years.

“I’ve never liked the subway, but it’s mostly because the bicycle is the fastest, most reliable, and most enjoyable means of transport for me. And the cheapest!”

Sébastien, 45 years old, resident of Aubervilliers, has been cycling for 25 years.

“I don’t like being underground, so the bike for me is simplicity. I ride my bike in all weathers”.

Marianne, 66 years old, has been cycling for “always.”

“I’ve always ridden a bike. I was born with a little bike in my head.”

“I’ve been using the vélibs in Paris for a year now. I love the freedom to be able to go wherever I want in the open air and see what’s around me.”
