Announcing Our New and Improved Tokenomics, Here’s Everything You Need to Know
We are thrilled to see the excitement around Animalia. Over the last few weeks, we have passed our initial audits, formed key early partnerships that add tremendous value for our community, and, more recently, updated tokenomics to reflect our ambition for the long-term success of our ecosystem.
Updated Tokenomics
To ensure transactions within our ecosystem run smoothly and remain cost-effective, our team has decided to switch from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain. Additionally, our total token supply has been increased to 87mil (up from 8.7mil), and our private sale token price has been reduced from $0.23 to $0.08. Please refer to the whitepaper on our website for detailed information on the tokenomics and vesting schedule.
While we’re confident that a larger supply will attract more early investors and contribute to a more self-sustainable ecosystem, we understand that receiving more tokens with a smaller percentage of total supply than previously expected may have some reconsider their contributions to our project. As such, we are happy to give our private sale participants the following options:
● Option A: Participants who wish to remain invested and get an updated token amount based on our new and improved tokenomics will receive an additional 1 NFT airdrop and a guaranteed whitelist slot for our upcoming IDO
● Option B: Participants who prefer to opt-out can do so and receive a full refund of their initial contribution to their originally whitelisted wallet address, and will no longer be eligible to receive the NFT airdrop.
We will send an email to all participants affected by this update, and your decision of which option you prefer can be confirmed by replying directly to the email you receive.
More Big News!
Our upgraded tokenomics are not the only bit of good news we are sharing with you today. As we mentioned earlier we have expedited our roadmap to check off those objectives much sooner, which means an earlier TGE and quicker game development.
For starters, we are advancing the official launch of Animalia by a full fiscal quarter, with the Closed Beta release date brought forward to Q2 2022 with limited access to 1,000 players. In addition, we have accelerated our marketplace development with an expected release in Q1 2022. Finally, we will roll out Phase 1 of our non-fungible titans in the coming weeks, accounting for 20% (1,740 pieces) of the total 8,700 collectible NFTs.
The Animalia team would like to introduce Omega, who has recently joined as our Technology Director. As an experienced CTO for Xhinobi, Omega will work with the team on all technical aspects of the game and blockchain development. We are also excited to share that we have secured some tier 1 partners and advisors who we will reveal as we get closer to our public IDO launch.
