Back in December of last year, Nordstorm’s began selling a bootie that bared an eerily similar resemblance to an anime character we know and love.

This trio colorway – yellow, white, and blue – lead anime fans to believe that Jeffrey Campbell’s Motorsport shoe, which retails at a reasonable $270, was inspired by the highly revered and decent father, Vegeta of the Dragon Ball series.

Vegeta, the prince of the Saiyan race, is seen throughout the series wearing this very specific color combination.

Not only do stiletto boots match Vegeta’s colors – it gets down to the little details; from the quilted yellow panels, half calf height and sharp pointed toe, just like Vegeta’s shoe.
