On Love And Evil

INTRODUCTION
The problem of good and evil has been around for ages. What counts as good, and what things should we avoid? Regardless of religious or cultural affiliation, we all long for goodness. However, we all know people are full of contradictions. People still do bad things despite knowing it’s wrong.
Devilman Crybaby invites us to evaluate ourselves and our actions. It reminds us that morality is different from legality. Though something is conventionally accepted, it doesn’t automatically make something right.
This show also tells us how our biases can dilute our thought process. In some cases, we decide, not based on our morals, but whether the outcome will favor us or not.
PLOT
When his childhood friend Ryo Asuka asks for help to uncover devils, Akira Fudo assists him. To Akira’s surprise, the place they investigate is the Sabbath, an immoral gathering attended by people who take drugs and engage in sexual misconduct.
