INTRODUCTION

I finished Horimiya: The Missing Pieces recently and was delighted by Studio Cloverworks’ decision to animate the manga chapters originally meant to be in Season 1.

It isn’t a Season 2 but a collection of Hori, Miyamura, and their friends’ experiences that were left out in the previous season.

This season didn’t necessarily propel the story forward but it gave us an intimate view into the inner voices of each character.

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces shows not all things have to be deep for them to matter.

Every moment with the people we cherish is worthwhile.

PLOT

As the Katagiri High School’s graduation ceremony ends, Hori, Miyamura, and their friends reminisce their high school days.

The story digs deeper into the “pieces” of their lives left out in the first season.
