Mereoleona Vermillion 「メ レ オ レ オ ナ ・ ヴ ァ ー ミ リ オ ン Mereoreona Vāmirion」 is a noble woman and the first daughter of House Vermillion of the Kingdom of Clover, one of their royal families. She is also the temporary captain of the Crimson Lion squad and the Royal Knights squad.
Appearence
Mereoleona is a woman with blue eyes and long wavy vermilion hair. Like her brothers, she has red markings around her eyes and, like Leopold, she has a sharp, pronounced canine tooth.
Mereoleona’s outfit consists of a white tunic, covered by a long dark blue shirt with long sleeves and a high neck. The shirt is decorated with fabric with a vertical striped pattern on the edges and collar and on the sleeves, which keeps it rolled up to the elbows. To keep the shirt together, she wears a purple sash around her waist. She wears white pants. On top of her outfit, she wears a long red cape.
As a member of the Crimson Lion squad, Mereoleona wears the squad’s signature robe that only covers her torso. The robe has intricate designs on the lower front edge and is complemented by a scarf. A pair of strings protrude from between the scarf and the tunic at the front and a stone decorates each end. Lastly, the squad insignia is located in the center of the back of the tunic.
Personality
Mereoleona has a hostile attitude and short temper. She is a loud and aggressive woman who believes that actions show more than words. Yet despite this, Mereoleona displays a deep understanding of how to motivate others, even the ones she just met. She respects anyone who is willing to get stronger and does not judge others based on their upbringing or lineage.
He doesn’t like the Royal Capital, so he spends most of the year in the wild, hunting wild animals and enjoying the natural mana. Despite her initial disgust and rejection of the captaincy, she assumes control when Fuegoleon Vermillion is incapacitated and leads the Royal Knights in an attack on the Eye of the Midnight Sun, hoping to avenge her brother.
He is also shown to have a lack of modesty or a natural view of nudity, as he did not hesitate to order everyone (men and women) to undress and bathe together in the hot springs, and they smile at the “enthusiasm” of the men. when he heard them try to look at women.

She employs it as her primary fighting style, and also uses her magic in conjunction with her melee prowess for more deadly attacks.
- Immense Strength: Mereoleona possesses tremendous physical strength, as shown when she sends Asta flying against a rock with a single hit despite him being in his Black Asta form. Her physical strength is great enough to fight on par with Vetto.
- Immense Speed: Mereoleona possesses tremendous raw speed, as shown when she surpasses Asta in midair while he is in his Black Asta form. She is so fast that she can stop Rhya’s spells with great ease, and he says her reactions are on par with Vetto’s. Zora claims her speed is monstrous.
- Immense Stamina: Mereoleona possesses extraordinary stamina, as shown when she receives the combined assault of five elves with no sign of pain and continues to fight. Even after using all of her mana to use her final attack, she remains on her feet and wanting to keep fighting.
- Improved Mana Sensory: Mereoleona is extremely adept at sensing mana, as shown when he instantly realizes that Rhya cannot copy Asta’s anti-magic and strikes straight through his copy of Asta’s sword without hesitation.
- Immense Magical Power: As a member of royalty and captain of a Magic Knights squad, Mereoleona possesses an immense amount of magical power. His magical power is so massive that Rhya claims it is not just because he is royalty, but because he is a completely unknown human force. According to Vetto, Mereoleona is probably the strongest human in the Kingdom of Clover.
