Top 10 Strongest Squads Gotei 13 — Bleach “ Anime India
Hey guys welcome back to Animeindia.in and today we are going to rank the “ Top 10 Strongest Squads Of Gotei 13 “ from Soul Society of Bleach. Bleach is an iconic anime series part of Big 3 . The series follows young man named Kurosaki Ichigo as he becomes a ‘Soul Reaper,’ using his incredibly powerful abilities to smite demons. This anime is known for its incredible fight scenes, creative character and weapon designs, and complex and intricate plots.
Bleach is still one of most famous anime of all times and the anime is coming back so we decided to make this list up.
Soul Society is organisation of Soul Reapers who bring the lost souls to piece and kill dark souls called Hollows. Gotei 13 comprises of best warriors among the Soul Reapers . This list is going to rank squads based on the power and capabilities of their Captains and Lieutenants. So get ready to see some awesome Bankais.
10. Squad 2 — Yoruichi Shihoin
First on the list we have is Squad 2 also known as Stealth Force. Its is special OPs of 13 Court Guard Squad. Its was first led by Yoruichi Shihoin as Captain and in the whole Soul Society Captain level Soul Reapers and Captain she is considered the most powerful unarmed warrior. She was exiled from Soul Society in the “ The Past Arc “.
Now the squad 2 is lead Suì-Fēng and Marechiyo Ōmaeda as Lieutenant. The squad has a large number of soldiers especially skilled at stealthy activity. This combat-centric division also possesses a lot of battle skill.
9. Squad 10 — Tōshirō Hitsugaya
Next on our list is squad 10 . The sqaud was first led by Isshin Shiba who was the Captain and pretty powerful captain. After the whole incident of Sōsuke Aizen hollowfication attempts Isshin investigated himself. One thing lead to another and he became father of Ichigo 😂😂 , no seriously spoiler for anime only fans. But Isshin is very power Captain level soul reaper.
Now Squad 10 is lead by Tōshirō Hitsugaya as Captain and Rangiku Matsumoto as Lieutenant. Hitsugaya is young captain but quit powerful and capable. Captain’s leadership is meticulous and he pays close attention to his soldiers, as a result everyone works very hard. The Shinigami Women’s Association goes on to state that the tenth squad is for the kind and thoughtful Shinigami.
8. Squad 12 — Kisuke Urahara
Next on list is squad 12. Kirio Hikifune was the Captain of the squad as she was promoted by Soul king Kisuke Urahara became the Captain. He created the Shinigami Research and Development Institute. All the scientific researches are done here. This give them a deadly advantage against other souls and hollows alike.
After “ The Past Arc “ Urahara was exiled from Soul Society. Then Mayuri Kurotsuchi became captain and Nemu Lieutenant. Mayuri is a kind of sanki scientist. But overall these science stuff make Squad 12 very powerful.
7. Squad 5 — Shinji Hirako
The squad 5 is next, this squad was first headed by Captain Shinji Hirako and the after the mastermind Sōsuke Aizen who used to be Lieutenant. The squad from starting of Soul Society arc has always been in the middle of action due to Aizen. Later Shinji Hirako again became the Captain of squad 5 in bleach anime. He is master of Illusions with his Zanpakutō. He also has hollow powers thanks to Aizen, which increases his capabilities. He also has taught Ichigo to control his Hollowfication.
The squad is specialized and train to excel in each and every field including battle readiness. Momo Hinamori love interest of Tōshirō Hitsugaya serves as Lieutenant.
6. Squad 6 — Byakuya Kuchiki
Next on your list is squad of sexy and ideal brother of soul society. Squad 6 is most elite squad of 13. The Captain is the head of Kuchiki Clan Byakuya Kuchiki. The member of the squad are guided by perfection and discipline. Renji Abarai is Lieutenant. The 6th squad is seen as a model by every Shinigami and is known for its strict adherence to rules.
Captain Kuchiki and Renji were the first ever Captain & Lieutenant to whom we were introduced. They both pack a punch and so their full squad. Both have some awesome bankai’s as well. Senbonzakura Kageyoshi is personally my favorite Bankai in Bleach anime.
5. Squad 13 — Jūshirō Ukitake
Next on the list is squad 13 of Captain Jūshirō Ukitake. He might not be healthy all times but he can surely finish biggest of biggest enemies himself. Due to the captain always weak and sick the Squad 13 do most of the administrative stuff of Soul Society.
After the tragic death of Lieutenant Kaien Shiba (look Alike of Ichigo) the squad didn’t had any lieutenant and then Rukia Kuchiki was promoted to lieutenant. But see is a very bad-ass bunny loving soul reaper not to be messed with. Overall squad is not like 11th or 6th squad but has very powerful Captain to even up the score.
4. Squad 4 — Retsu Unohana
Squad that heals everyone is next. Retsu Unohana as Captain is very beautiful and Calm but one of the most feared woman in the soul society. She was also the founding member of 13 Court Guards. Ukitake also refers her as Senpai denoting her seniority. Isane Kotetsu is the Lieutenant of squad 4. She is considered to be on par with Captain Shunsui and Kenpachi Zaraki.
The members of the 4th Division are trained to use their spiritual power to perform healing and also routinely receive other training to give them the ability to act swiftly, so that they can cooperate and apply fast relief when casualties break out.
3. Squad 11 — Kenpachi Zaraki
The squad that comprises of only barbarians is next. The Squad 11 which just loves fighting not just with hollows but also among themselves as well. They are led by their crazy Captain Kenpachi Zaraki. The man just lives to fight. The fight b/w Zaraki and Ichigo is one of most iconic and my favorite. They have their cute Lieutenant Yachiru Kusajishi and Famous bald third seat Ikkaku Madarame (its shaved head not bald😁). The Creator of Bleach Tite Kubo says about them:-
“11th division — the faces in Team Zaraki — the love for fighting to them is like the need for three meals a day!”
The Squad 11 is a direct-combat Division with a specialization in swords-only combat, forgoing the other Shinigami arts and thereby being one of the most specialized divisions in the 13 Court Guards. As such, it is common practice for members to be carrying their Zanpakutō at all times. The division’s doctrine of dominating in battle is what appeals to its members. They believe that fighting is what makes life worth living. This is what separates the Squad 11 from the others and makes them the strongest squad in battle. Everyone in the Squad 11 are highly skilled in fighting. They believe if they are going to die anyway, they have to go down fighting gloriously.
2. Squad 8 — Shunsui Kyōraku
No number 2 spot we have Squad 8 were Lieutenant holds more authority than the Captain (Joking). Captain Shunsui Kyōraku is undoubtedly second most strongest Captain in the Soul Society and with time he came even surpass Yamamoto. And he likes to chase women mostly former Lieutenant Lisa Yadōmaru and present Lieutenant Nanao Ise.
The squad is shown in less action, But captain always remain in action. The squad is cool and calm. Not more is known about squad, but with powerful Captain like Shunsui Kyōraku the Squad 8 ranks on the number 2.
1. Squad 1 — Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto
The most powerful squad in all soul society is undoubtedly the Squad 1. The First squad is ranked highest among the 13 Court Guards. Even subordinate members of the First Squad are considered model Shinigami. Emergencies must be dealt with swiftly; quick decisions and quick actions are essential. The squad is able to ascertain a situation and mobilize quickly even before an order is issued. That is the true value of the squad 1.
Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto is the Captain and very crazy powerful oldman. Ryūjin Jakka is one of the oldest and most power Zanpakutō in the soul society. Chōjirō Sasakibe as Lieutenant is as powerful as captains of other squads. His Zanpakutō is undoubtedly Captain level.
