4 Dimensional (4D) Growth
Despite all its incredible work and innovation the health sector is failing to combat the declines in public health by many critical measures.
The whole sector needs to evolve.
Multifaceted, holistic and outcome-driven sectoral development is achieved through four dimensions of growth (4D Growth). This includes:
Personal Growth — Health, happiness, wellbeing and time + energy allocation. The often overlooked foundation of any success in the professional world.
Professional Growth — The capacity for each professional to fulfil their professional purpose. Ensuring they have the right skills, experience and knowledge to create value for their team, organisation or patients.
Organisational Growth — The capacity for an organisation to fulfil its mission. Balancing solution, financial and operational components to create a highly effective, ethical and impactful organisation.
Sectoral Growth — How the sector as a whole is progressing. Optimising shared sensemaking, collective intelligence, service enhancement and innovation to tackle systemic issues like workforce attrition, brain gain, market expansion, health accessibility and high-level advocacy.
4D Growth is not the solution or end goal. It is the foundational optimisation of the principles we need to create evolving solutions to the perpetual problem of human health. 4D Growth applied to the health sector consistently solves the most complex, dynamic and entrenched problems. If perfectly executed across the health sector we have the potential to put health at the centre of society and human progress where it belongs.
