2020 has been a challenging year for all of us, but we had some great anime to enjoy while stuck at home. Here’s what AniTAY decided was the best — The 2020 AniTAY Anime Awards.
In past years, we’d typically run two series of awards — the choices from the readers, and the choices from the authors of AniTAY, but in the transition from Kinja to Medium, the level of engagement has died down and there wasn’t enough votes in the readers sheet to justify running 2 awards. As such, the AniTAY Awards this year is what used to be the Author awards. Hopefully by next year this is resolved and this is a one time occurrence.
