Welcome to AniTAY

Welcome to AniTAY! Your stop for all kinds of content from the hobbyists that inhabit the AniTAY community. We’ll cover several common points of interest in here, so stay tuned.

What is AniTAY?

AniTAY is a community that was informally founded around 2013 as a tag on TAY (Talk Amongst Yourselves), which subsequently spun off from TAY as its own blog. Since then, AniTAY has continued to pride itself on being a home for a variety of hobbyists dedicated to Anime, Manga, and more.

As a hobbyist site, articles on AniTAY are written purely as a hobby and this is not a paid job. We’ve felt this is a core principle to AniTAY going back to the early days. We intend to always be a community that’s reader-run first.

What can I expect to find on AniTAY?

You never really know what people will want to write about here. You’ll typically find our writers making reviews or impressions articles about a variety of things. Sometimes you’ll see some longer reads from a single person.

One of the big draws for us has always been our collaboration articles, typically a long read that’s written by several members of the community to review a new anime season or something else.

In addition, AniTAY has a number of affiliated podcasts that you can listen to on the go.

Who runs this show?

AniTAY on Medium is run by four “co-editors” that act as the final say in all things: Dexomega, Protonstorm, Raitzeno, and NomadicDec (Declan).

Are you on Social Media?

Indeed! We are most active on our Twitter account.

How can I be involved?

That’s a good question and one we need to work out on Medium. Typically AniTAY has recruited from the readership in the past and we intend to continue doing so in the future, so stay tuned.
