1. White House Releases Roadmap To Reduce Risks Associated With Crypto
- The White House has constructed a crypto roadmap in order to prevent the risks associated with the asset. The White House has also released a new document which contains an address to Congress in order to help them formulate a more appropriate legislative regulation to govern crypto assets.

2. UK Denies Crypto Companies the US Lets Operate
- The vast majority — 85% — of crypto firms who attempt to register with a UK financial regulator are denied, the agency said, after standards were raised and companies “were unable to demonstrate they met the required, minimum standards.”

3. Bitcoin closes in on US$24,000, lifts crypto top 10
- Bitcoin reached its highest price in five months while Solana and Litecoin posted the biggest gains. The total cryptocurrency market capitalization has remained above US$1 trillion for the eighth consecutive day, the longest streak since August 2022.

4. Sam Bankman-Fried Seeks Right to Transfer FTX’s Crypto
- Lawyers for the bankrupt crypto exchange’s founder said there was no evidence for restricting his access to crypto held by FTX as part of bail conditions in a fraud trial.

5. Crypto Exchange Bithumb Raided in South Korean Price Manipulation Probe
- South Korean prosecutors are investigating transactions related to a specific person or entity moving the price of a coin to make a profit, and said they will also examine relevant transactions on other exchanges.

6. South Korea to deploy cryptocurrency tracking system in 2023
- The “Virtual Currency Tracking System” will be used to monitor transaction history, extract information related to transactions and check the source of funds before and after remittance.
