AnkiApp 2.4.0 brings interface improvements designed to make studying more convenient and efficient for you.

We’ve simplified the interface, and provided access to commonly-used functionality, via a “tab bar” at the bottom of the screen.

To reduce clutter, we’ve split your deck list into sections:

1. “Local” decks, which are downloaded on your device.

2. “Cloud” decks, which you have used previously, but are not downloaded to your current device.

3. “Shared” decks, which someone else shared with you, but are not downloaded to your current device.

To streamline making new cards, we’ve put a big “plus” button front-and-center, which lets you add a card to one of your local decks, right from the main interface.

iPad Multitasking

For those of you with iPads, we’ve added support for the new multitasking features in iOS, letting you refer to other apps while you’re making flashcards.

In addition to all these new features, we’ve made a number of small tweaks to make the app more pleasant to use.

To try this new release out (for free!), head to the App Store and search for AnkiApp.
