Today’s pick is brought to you by way of Southern California- and it’s a glowing return from HUNNY. You might remember them opening for The Neighbourhood in the latter half of last year, or perhaps you’ve already peeped their latest record, Pain / Ache / Loving. Either way, both of those were back in 2015.

2016 brings us a new single from the SoCal six piece called “Vowels (And the Importance of Being Me),” and it’s one you will want to add to the top of your summer playlist. They’ve managed to capture the sweet spot of synth, guitar, and drums on this one while being a little cheeky with the lyrics. The chorus is the most tongue in cheek of the entire track, and that’s why I love it so.
