California Room Program, Wed. July 20th: Documentary Film Screening, “Epic Bill”

By Carol Acquaviva

The Anne T. Kent California Room invites to you to a virtual screening of an exciting new documentary titled Epic Bill. This film profiles Bill Bradley whose local video rental business — Bradley Video — you may remember. Bill, a former resident of Corte Madera who trained on Mt. Tamalpais, has lived by a certain mantra that serves as the tagline to the movie: “Show Up and Suffer.”

After a traumatic event, Bill reinvents himself into an extreme endurance athlete and takes on increasingly dangerous challenges despite family concerns. Before turning sixty, Bill must battle inhospitable environments and his inner demons.
