Celebrate Independence Day and Marin County’s agricultural heritage with the Anne T. Kent California Room and the Bookmobile at the Marin County Fair, June 30-July 4, 2012.

Children can play our history game and win prizes.

All ages will enjoy our 1937 “Marvelous Marin” map, a snapshot in time replete with whimsical drawings highlighting the county’s abundant civic, cultural, and agricultural resources. See where pears were grown in Novato and where peas and artichokes were cultivated on the Point Reyes Peninsula.

A special display will include historic photographs, artifacts and ephemera.
