Candice Lee is a 16-year-old rising junior who is currently attending Glen A. Wilson High School. She develops her passion for writing in a journalism class, which she takes along with being a member of both ASB and Red Cross. She really enjoys photography and practices inside and outside of school. During her free time, Candice likes to volunteer at numerous places ranging from dog shelters to museums. Candice is especially passionate about promoting the welfare of animals, as she became the president of P.A.W. (Promoting Animal Welfare) at her school.

Candice is excited about all the opportunities she will get to experience in the Annenberg Youth Academy and hopes that throughout the program she will gain a deeper understanding of journalism and media for civic use. Also, she is looking forward to building connections and engaging herself with the rest of her cohort; hoping to gain a different perspective from who shares different culture.

In the future, Candice is planning on studying media or communications, but knows that her plans might change as she grows. What she does know is that she wants to travel the world and study abroad hoping to obtain knowledge of different culture and seeking the endless possibility of what the future has to offer.
