Claudia Brown, a 15-year-old sophomore at Da Vinci Communications High School grew up in a household where her parents supported her passions. Growing up, she dabbled in what she might be interested in as a career due to the strong influence her family members have played in her life.
As a child of a mother who immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 9, Claudia has a strong appreciation towards her family. “My family is so important to me, and I’m so glad I am apart of them,” Claudia said.
When talking to Claudia, it can be seen through her face lightening up just how treasured her family is to her and the lengths she will go to make them happy. She holds a strong pride for her family and where she comes from. The affirmation given to her by who she looks up to is a significant part in how she operates daily life.
