We are platform where developers can show off their ability to suggest improvements in style and complexity of source code.
Why should I use Annotdot?
For fun: Solving challenges is always fun! Competing with other developers and giving the best answer is very thrilling. You can prove yourself to be the best in your coding language of choice! We try to provide innovative and different types of code challenges that you’ve never seen before.
Glory: By solving different challenges, you earn scores! The sum of all scores you’ve earned shows up in our Challenges leaderboard. The more scores you earn, the higher you get on the leaderboard.
Community: Through solving challenges and annotating source code, you can interact with other developers by asking questions and answering questions from others!
Improving: Our code review challenges allow you to improve your coding skills by helping you identify better solutions to code problems.

What features does Annotdot have?
Annotdot is mainly composed of two main features:
- Code Review Challenges — Our code challenges are quite different from traditional code challenges found in Hackerrank and other websites. We are more focused on enhancing and discovering your real knowledge on coding. After solving our code review challenges, you can discuss with fellow developers on answers to challenges and gain a broader perspective on programming.
- Source Code Annotation — We also provide a source code annotation tool. You can import projects from Github and annotate them for future reference and documentation purposes.
Can anyone solve Challenges?
Absolutely YES! Anyone who has an Annotdot account can solve code review challenges.
Can anyone annotate projects?
YES! Anyone who has an Annotdot account can annotate projects and import projects from Github
Is it a paid service?
No, we are providing everything for free.
Can I upload code?
At the moment, no. But we are working on providing better features for our users! If you would love to see this feature as soon as possible at Annotdot, please send us an email to eoeo@annot.io so we may move it up on our priority list.
Can I link my Github account to Annotdot?
Of course you can! You can automatically link it when you sign up to Annotdot.
